Our next Central Valley Hispanic Chamber Business Network Mixer will be held Wednesday, February 8 (5:30-7:30 pm) Hosted by Edward Jones-Danny Danbom & El Dorado Accounting-Linda Diaz at Edward Jones, 1144 South Main St, Manteca. This our second 2012 Mixer and will be a great opportunity to expand your business reach and establish new business relationships. Bring lots of business cards!

If you are interested in being a host for a Mixer please contact the Chamber or a Board member. In 2012 we will have Mixers where there can be up to 5 members co-hosting. If you have a home based business or a small store we can arrange for you to still obtain great exposure by joining with other members. Some dates for locations have already been booked. New 2012 Coffee & Business Builder Seminars
Members and guests are invited to join the Chamber at its 2012 Monthly Morning Networking Coffee and Business Builder Seminars. The next one is 8:30-9:30 am on Thursday, February 2 (at Main Street Cafe, Manteca). CVHCC has scheduled its new morning coffee and networking opportunity, combined with a brief Business Building Seminar, for the first Thursday of every month. For any questions or to become a presenter please contact the Business Builder Seminar Committee Chair Kim Lamb at 470-7156.

2012 Board of Directors
Following the presentation of the slate of members to become the 2012 Officers and Board of Directors there were no nominations for any position from the membership. In accordance with the Chamber's Bylaws the current Board of Directors (Board) voted to accept the slate as presented.
Subsequent to that action, the current Board received notice from Patrick Rabelo and from Linda Diez that due to unforeseen business obligations neither of them would be able to serve in their 2012 elected positions.
In accordance with our Chamber's Bylaws and Robert's Rules of Order, the current Board accepted Jacob Naven's agreement to continue for another year as president. As president Jacob appointed, with the appointment ratified by the Board, of Carlos Chavez (Bank of the West) to fill the vacant position of Secretary.
The 2012 Board of Directors will be installed at the January 11, 2012 Business Network Mixer. The Mixer will be held at the State Farm office of Crystal Downs, 259 North Main Street, Manteca (5:30-7:30 PM).

Travel to Portugal or Tuscany! Special vacation packages are being offered by our Chamber. They are arranged for us by Chamber Member Doni Wheeler (Pleasant Journeys Travel) and Collette Vacations. They are available to members, employees, family members and the general public.
Even with the special prices, this is a fund raiser for our Chamber. The next trip will be to Portugal. These are special priced trips for our Chamber and they are available to members, their families, friends and the general public.
